We would give the Alarm Research crew 10 stars if we could.  They far surpassed our expectations when they “retro fitted” our much much older security system with an updated very workable system.  It was an extremely complicated job and we are so grateful for not only their expertise but the tenacity and professionalism it required to finish our upgrade.   Gary, Gavin and Phil provided us with a system that is not only current and up to date but very user friendly.  The prices were all upfront and there was never any overselling, when they ran into a few hick-ups in our 1949 home they creatively found solutions and offered alternatives, everything was discussed, no surprises. Our interconnected smoke detectors started chirping last night and we tried everything. We unplugged the panel, removed backup batteries, went up and down the stairs countless times replacing batteries in detectors to no avail. We called ADT, TAS, and several other services and they all said that they couldn't help us. Come this morning I reached out to Alarm Research, bleary-eyed and stressed from the incessant chirping. Austin answered was polite, listened thoroughly, was patient and offered to help as soon as this afternoon. After providing him with some basic information, he told me he'd have to do some research and that he would call me back. So many times people say they'll call back and they never do. Austin called back within 1/2 hour offered options that allowed me to save money. I opted to purchase the detectors themselves as we agree that maybe they were at end of life chirping. He took the time to locate the devices for me by searching local vendors and letting me know where to go and what I needed to buy all in an effort to help me save money. A business with ethics that isn't trying to gouge you in a time of crisis is unheard of! Thank you!! I cannot recommend Alarm Research enough! The customer service and professionalism is without a doubt the best I've ever experienced. I will certainly call on them should future needs arise and recommend them should the opportunity present itself. On behalf of my family, Thank you Austin and Alarm Research, LLC. Davin and Gary are great to work with. Yes, they are a valued client, but they have professionally set up security camera and alarm systems for our office building and at our home. The best addition: water bugs! The water sensors that Alarm Research installed have saved us thousands of dollars! Today-- the installation of smoke detectors in critical areas of the office. I was very pleased with the excellent customer service and the attention to the details provided by the admin-staff and alarm installer crew, of Alarm Research.
